This is the third book in the series and I heartily suggest you read the first two plus the novella. I love each of the characters that Kristi Ann Hunter introduces us to. I was however quite surprised this side of Lord Trent. It shows his weaknesses and gave us a inside to a more insecure Lord Trent. It was however well written with some funny and romantic moments.
