True to You-Book Review

Nora Bradford is a single older woman who works at a library. She loves genealogy and history. She watches romantic old fashioned shows. She lives vicariously through her shows and strives to feel her lonely life with distractions that prevent her from thinking too much.

John Lawson is the hero extraordinaire who strives to live everyday like a normal person. He served and did his duty as the Navy Seal. Yet things are happening to him that are out of his control and strangely he needs a genealogist to help him locate his past.

Nora Bradford is someone I can definitely relate to. She is quirky and takes her single status to a level I did when I was single. I laughed at her humor and related to her way of dealing with life. I liked her relationship with her sisters. Her chemistry with John is amazing. I loved that he fought his attraction for her and that he saw her for her. They are so different and yet so right for each other.

I won't spoil the story but some of what was thrown at them both would challenge any relationship.  It was a good read and I definitely have my favorite parts of the story. I recommend this book. I have read other books by Becky Wade and they are all really well written.

I received a copy of this from Bethany House on Netgalley for my honest opinion and review of the story.
